Greenies, I'm proud of all of you :D

Everything just flew by like that, from audits to pracs to Sports Day.

Things didn't really go well for us during audits. Even after we got our team, there were many gossips about our team being sucky & everything. Then germ couldn't join halfway. And everything was in a mess. And at the start, all of us were like splitted into upper sec & lower sec. But we slowly bonded, especially with the dinners where only me, jia, baba & rei-en could stay. Then we had problems with our routine & choreography & songs & everything. During the first vetting we screwed up quite a bit, but I was really happy that all of you were not demoralised :D Then we practised & practised & drilled & drilled. Then ugenie became so emo cause she couldn't remember the first pom sets >: ( Then all the negative remarks & everything. But we still continued going on. Till 2nd vetting, Miss Lim said we 'definitely improved'. Finally, everything seemed to be going on fine, but baba got injured, charis got injured, ugenie got injured. But still, we carried on. Although baba couldn't dance, we still had our very good reserves :D Then on thursday, final vetting was really tiring. Rei-en cried, alex cried. And I know all of you were very tired, hungry, and we still had to have prac. Just before sports day, so many things had to be changed. Then was sports day itself. Rained & rained till 5 plus. Rushed our hair, our make up, our face paint, but everything turned out well. Then we prayed & played stupid games in the primary pe room till ms lim told us to get ready. It didn't feel like we were going to perform already at all. So we got ready, stood outside the pe room, watched the JB cheerleaders perform, RED house. Then was ours. Did our 'GREEEEEEEEEEN.... GARRISON!' cheer, which was quite motivating :D Then there went our performance. There wasn't any major screwups. And after that I watched our video & I was really very very very happy :D We were SO MUCH neater than any other vetting or pracs or whatever. I was so proud of all of you and even though we got 3rd, we really had fun together. And we got what we wanted: to put up a good performance. That was when, nothing could take our smiles away ( :

So now, who says we have a lousy team?

GREEN CHEERLEADERS for understanding even though the day before sports day, I sort of like went crazy or something, but still, none of yall stopped practising/gave up. And for all the constant encouragement from all of you :D And for all the fun we had together :D I hope the 'SMILE GREEN' board really made yall smile! :D

UGENIE for your very super emo & encouraging letter ( : TEEN STARVING IS VERY BAD, WAITENG, GRAB SOME FOOD! :D

RACHIE for helping to choregraph & all the ideas & our very nice pairwork :D

JIA for constantly reminding me that winning wasn't everything because of our very wonderful team :D You really motivated me a lot during the last few days :D

ZHANGLAOSHI for her constant encouragement about us being good & all. And for all the ways she tried to support us & for being the best teacher-in-charge. We all love her :D (even though I know she won't read this haha)

DORO for helping me ever since cheer started and making me feel like I wasn't alone :D
