They get so used to seeing me happy, that being sad is a crime.
All I'm gonna ask is for someone to show me where my simple childhood days are.
Those days I could find so much fun at a small playground.
When everything I saw, could become something that made me so happy.
Those days when eating ice-cream could get me oh so excited.
When I felt so loved having someone to pick me up after school.
When they called it "sweet" and not "bittersweet".
This superficial world is making this seem all so impossible.
